Ric Stanbridge · A Dedicated Agent

Ric's Agent — built around Soul Lounge

The call: a dedicated agent for Ric — his single warm point of contact — that encompasses Soul Lounge end-to-end. Built around the person, not just the brand. Comedy stays with Maggie for now. This is how to build it well, using the rails we've already proven, and what to settle before it goes live.

Prepared by Melissa (PR & Media Director) · 23 Jul 2026 · for discussion with Victor · not a decision, a starting point

The call, in one line

Build a dedicated agent for Ric that encompasses Soul Lounge — his single warm point of contact, nothing else folded in. Comedy stays with Maggie. Prove the pattern here; wider use is a separate, later decision.

1The two options, reframed

What JR floated — and why they're layers, not a choice.

Option A — the outbound "agent" that procures work. A talent/booking-agent-style role that goes out to venues, event planners and agencies and pulls in bookings across party bands, functions and potentially comedy. This is the ambitious end-state and the real new capability. It is also the highest-risk thing to stand up first: an agent making cold approaches and negotiating money in the wild is exactly the high-stakes external contact we've been careful with.

Option B — a dedicated Soul Lounge agent. One agent that works directly with Ric, services the relationship end-to-end, and pulls the wider 360 team in through JR/Melissa when it needs design, PR, web or footage. Contained, low-risk, and we already have the perfect live test case.

The design (JR, 23 Jul): make it Ric's agent — built around the person, not just the brand — encompassing Soul Lounge end-to-end, and anchored there (his music/live business + agreed tasks, not an unbounded personal assistant). A V360HQ-run agent working for Ric under the V360 umbrella; identity & guardrails unchanged. Solely Ric/Soul Lounge for now — do not fold comedy in (Maggie holds it; a helping hand to her may come later if she needs it, as a separate call). The wider outbound-procurement shape is real, but explicitly parked.

2The role that needs doing — Ric's agent

Defining the new "agent" role properly, so it's a role and not a vibe.

This is a genuinely new function in the stack — closer to a real-world personal booking/talent agent than to any current director. It is Ric's agent: his single point of contact, working directly with him, encompassing Soul Lounge end-to-end. Its job is to procure and service live work:

It sits alongside PR and comedy touring, not inside them — see the lane map in §5.

3The build path

Phase it. Each phase de-risks the next.

Phase 1 · Now

Soul Lounge booking agent

Dedicated agent, Ric's single point of contact. Inbound servicing only. Internal identity, JR sends/approves externally. Uses the rails we've already built.

Phase 2 · Parked

Outbound for Soul Lounge

Switch on proactive procurement for Soul Lounge only — own sending identity + tiered auth, still CEO-gated. JR's call, once inbound is proven.

Later · If JR calls it

Wider use / help Maggie

Only if JR decides: extend the proven pattern to other acts, or lend Maggie a helping hand on comedy if she needs it. A separate decision — not this build.

4What we've already proven — the reusable rails

This doesn't start cold. The Soul Lounge work has already built and battle-tested the pieces the agent runs on.

Phase 1 is largely packaging what already works into a standing agent — not inventing from scratch.

5Lane map — so no two agents fight over one job

The single biggest risk is role collision. Draw the lines before we build.

This is where the ambitious role meets the risk controls — and it's your and Victor's current work.

7Open decisions for you & Victor

Framing confirmed, name TBC — it's "Ric's agent" (person-centric, encompassing Soul Lounge), not brand-centric. Does it get a persona name of its own, and how far does "encompassing Soul Lounge" reach beyond bookings (PR liaison? content? just live work)?
Parked, flag only: if/when Maggie wants a helping hand on comedy, is that this same agent extended, or a separate build? Not for now — JR's call later.
Who holds pricing authority — the agent quoting from a locked card, or Reed signing off every quote?
Sender identity per the new agent, and where it sits under the email wiring you're doing now.
Phase 2 unlock criteria — what has to be true on the Soul Lounge pilot before outbound procurement is switched on?
